Thank you for providing me with a good deep belly laugh to start my day…should I put that comment on your Instagram (🤣)? Also…absolutely desire to hear the advice your Mom has shared with you on the art/practice of writing…😉

My mom's writing advice is the best. Not the best for actually writing well, but....

Hi! Love the humor in this. Thanks for including my testimonial. Now I’m off to “restack” this on Notes. Lots of engagement there. 🥰 (NOT competitive!)

This was very interesting, largely because you are so organized in your response. I'm pretty sure that I participated in that survey but I must have done it at 3:00 a.m. when I got up to turn a trickle of water on in the bathtub for the cat, because I don't remember most of those questions and I may even have misunderstood the whole purpose of the survey! So if your responses have one outlier that would be why. Sorry!

Here's a technical question. I subscribe to several Substacks now and from time to time receive an email from them promoting other substacks. Almost always these are of interest to me. But when I click on them, Substack seems to make me subscribe to them before I can even see a sample. Is there a way to go straight to an account and read sample issues, from the promotional email? Without subscribing? This would be key to me because otherwise I have to leave email, sign into Substack online as I don't use an app, and then search for those accounts by name but by then I usually forgotten the name of them.

Your articles always come directly to my email and I enjoy them. I look forward to being a paid subscriber once you have set that up. I really don't care what you write about, I enjoy everything because your voice comes through it all.

Yes, just click "no thank you" and the subscribe window goes away and you can see what's there.

Oh! And that will allow me to read the suggested writers' columns? I didn't know that! I'll give it a try next time I get one of those emails. They don't come frequently but they are usually enticing.

Thank you! Levity is my middle name. I mean, it isn't, my parents were not of the unique name generation, but it could be... I could use a middle name, there's a blank space on all my forms. Hmm...
